Special Sessions
Established specialists in various fields relevant to instrumentation and measurement are invited to propose and organise special sessions related to their areas of specialisation. The role of the organisers will include the development of the initial special session proposal (comprising the session title, names and affiliations of the session organisers, brief abstract of the session scope, intended depth and breadth of the coverage as well as target audience), session publicising and paper solicitation (4-5 quality papers per session as minimum, submissions reviewing and special session paper selection in consultation with the Technical Program Chairs. It is also expected that the special session organisers will chair their sessions at the conference.
For proposals submission and for any questions related to special sessions, please contact the Technical Program Chairs or the I²MTC Conference Coordinator Mr. Chris Dyer, Conference Catalysts, LLC (cdyer@conferencecatalysts.com).
Authors forwarding their papers to special sessions have to indicate the title of the target session at the time of the submission. If the submitted abstract is not selected for the session, it will be forwarded to the main stream of the conference submissions for reviewing and consideration for possible inclusion in another part of the technical program. When making submissions to a special session, the authors have to follow the instructions for regular sessions. It is reminded that they have to specify the special session to which the paper is intended to.
