I2MTC 2018 will be hosting a series of tutorials in the area of instrumentation and measurement, and proposals are invited from industrial and research community.
We encourage proposals for tutorials dealing with emerging technologies, specialized measurement techniques and applications, and refresher or introductory material of fundamental importance to all instrumentation and measurement professionals.
Presentations are in English and should properly cite material sources. The authors will confirm that they authorize the distribution of the slides to attendees.
It is particularly important that a tutorial's technology and presentation be objective, of a high standard, and free of salesmanship, marketeering, or other promotional content.
Tutorial Proposal Format
Each tutorial proposal (maximum 4 pages in PDF format) must include:
- Title of the tutorial
- Length of the tutorial: One time slot (1h 30 min), Two time slots (3 h)
- Names, addresses, and a short biography (up to 200 words) of the instructors
- A description of the technical issues that the tutorial will address, emphasizing its timeliness
- An outline of the tutorial content, including its tentative schedule
- Planned format of the tutorial, such as lecture or hands-on
- If appropriate, a description of past versions of the tutorial, including number of attendees, etc.

PDH Certificates Available!
The Conference will award IEEE Professional Development Hour certificates for up to 6 PDHs for participation in Tutorial Sessions. Tutorial participants may also request PDH certificates for qualifying Conference technical sessions to achieve the remainder of the annual continuing education hour requirement in most US states (this is limited to paid registrants for both tutorials and conference). Attendees must request PDH certificates in person at the beginning of the tutorial session and complete and return IEEE course feedback forms for all sessions.
